Bilingual Programmes in Primary Schools

چکیده

Many studies have shown that most pupils attending bilingual programmes develop much higher levels of foreign language proficiency than in regular lessons. In this paper, we will first illustrate similarities and differences between teaching strategies used English lessons programmes. Then summarize the results examining questions teachers, parents school administrators are often concerned about. These include following: Do show deficits development their native or subject knowledge? Are also suitable for children from migrant backgrounds who at risk poor academic achievement? Finally, discuss how attended a programme primary can be supported secondary school.
